Xbox Series X console: Everything you need to know from release date to specs, games, and more | GamesRadar+

Looks like the Xbox Series S is real. Xbox Series S, Microsoft's rumored second cheaper next-gen Xbox, seems to have been confirmed by a controller packaging leak.  Photos of the packaging revealed that it mentions both the confirmed Xbox Series X and the unconfirmed Xbox Series S, which has had the rumored codenamed Project Lockhart for quite some time. It's hardly a well-kept secret at this point. A recent report suggested that the Xbox Series S reveal would be taking place this month, So official news shouldn't be too far away. Xbox Series X and presumably the series S will be released this holiday. We have yet to learn of any release date or price. If the cheaper model is revealed this month, we'd assume Microsoft would also have to reveal the price of both consoles because if it's cheaper, we'll need to know how much cheaper it is than Series X. And as long as we're talking about prices, it would be great to know how much the PlayStation 5 would cost, too. The "holidays" begin in just over three months from today. We know that the Xbox Series X will have 12 teraflops of GPU power. It will also support up to 120 frames per second. As for how powerful the Series S is, that is still unclear. Then there's the fact that the next Gen Xbox games will also be compatible with the current Xbox one NPC. So Microsoft needs to find a way to communicate that Halo Infinite is playable on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S and PC, and Xbox One, and Xbox one X. Their marketing department has a lot of work cut out for them as soon as the Xbox Series S is officially revealed. You'll learn all about it right here at IGN.
